 A criminal case was opened on the death of a 15-year-old girl of Barnaul, who was having a course of treatment in children resort "Shira Lake". The decision was made by Shirinsky Interdistrict Investigation Department of Russian Prosecutor's Office on April 24.
The case was opened on negligent homicide owing to the improper discharge by a person of his professional duties (Article 109 Part 2 of the Russian Federation Criminal Code). Emergency investigation is carried out. This crime shall be punishable by restraint of liberty for a term of up to three years.
As Newslab reported earlier, the girl was taken in grave condition to Shira Central District hospital from the resort on March 26. In two days the child died.
