 A suspect of killing the head of the Judicial Department of the Directorate for Social Protection of Leninsky district of Krasnoyarsk was detained by police.
The body of the 40-year-old official was found stubbed in his apartment on April 9, a source in the Investigation Department of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Directorate for the Prosecutor's Office reported.
A criminal case was opened on a murder (Article 105 Part 1 of the Russian Federation Criminal Code) on the same day. Investigators established close acquaintances of the official, and there was the suspect among them. He was identified as a 19-year-old young man. He was arrested and confessed of the crime. According to him, the cause of the murder was personal disliking. When leaving the crime scene, the man stole some of the killed man's personal belongings.
The suspect is expected to be accused officially in the nearest future. The name of the suspect was not released.
