 223 car accidents occurred on Krasnoyarsk roads at the weekend. The reason of most of the car accidents was icy conditions of roads, which were caused by abundant snowing and freezing, Krasnoyarsk State Traffic Safety Affairs Inspectorate reported.
15 big car accidents happened in the city on Monday morning. No victims were reported. Hills and slopes remain the most difficult places for driving.
The Department of Municipal Services promised to comment on the situation and tell how snow and ice were removed from the roads during the day.
