One of ten finalists of "Cyber Miss Yakutia" beauty contest proved to be a 25-year-old man. The organizing company "SakhaInternet" that had been holding the contest for a few years said the pics had been received by e-mail, RIA Novosti reported. However, in fact Anzhela Adamova was a young man called Oleg Goncharov, who decided to take part in the beauty contest by joke. He went to a stylist and after that made a portfolio at a professional photographer.
As a result of online voting, Anzhela earned 369 votes and got to the final. The "female participant" wrote about herself, "I try to make every step I make in my life bright and exciting not only for me but also for my beloved people. Do you want to learn and see more? Give your vote for me, and I will not disappoint you!" Oleg took one year of age away and wrote Anzhela was 24 years old.
The third stage of the contest starts soon. Ten finalists will be taking part in a hotel reality show. Goncharov will not participate in the contest, as he was disqualified by the organizing committee. The girl listed 11th will get into the final instead.
"Cyber Miss Yakutia" has been held since 1999. Winners of the contest were a success in other beauty contests later. For instance, Tatiana Nikitina became "Miss Asia and Oceania", Sardana Koryakina won "Miss National Costume" contest at "Miss Russia", and Maria Gushchina became the winner of cyber contest "Russian Beauty" in 2006.
