The crew of 'Sevmorput' atomic ship is forbidden to land in Dudinka Port until May, 19. The reason is acute enteric infection among the crew members, Svetlana Konareva, the press secretary of Siberian Regional Center of Ministry for Emergencies, announced.
According to Konareva, the outbreak of acute enteric infection was registered at the ship on May, 4. The atomic vessel entered Dudinka Port on May, 7, where 12 people were taken to the infectious department of the local hospital. At present 4 people are under control of the ship doctor. All the crew members were examined by doctors. After that a decision to prolong quarantine at the ship until May, 19 was made.
Crew members, about 100 people in number, are forbidden to leave the ship and enter the shore until then.
