SHELL Oil Company interested in geological prospecting in Taimyr

SHELL Company is interested in geological prospecting in Taimyr. That was stated by Michael Born, the leader of a technical group on geological prospecting of the company, at the press conference. A group of specialists of the oil company arrived in Taimyr to review geological materials in order to participate in an auction for the right to hold geological prospecting of lots situated in Taimyr. The auction will take place in October, 2005.

At present the specialists of the company are analyzing the materials received for expert assessment of the perspective of further works. It is worth reminding that Taimyr Autonomous Area administration had prepared a set of documents for geological prospecting and further use of four oil deposits of the region.
